It was Britney, or is it not?
Two songs that sounded like the work of the new pop princess revived briefly broadcast on the Internet this week, but only one of them was real.
Less than 40 seconds of a song titled "skirt" made its way to the site in Nashville, Tennessee, radio station 107.5 The River on Friday - but it was quickly withdrawn.
It appeared a few days after "Candy From Strangers" is distributed online with a vocal track that some commentators have said, was misleading Spears.
Wendy Washington, a spokesman for the Zomba Label Group / Jive Records, said the leak overview of "skirt" Spears is a song and not a forgery. It is the first single off his upcoming album "Circus" and should be available to radio stations Monday.
"A representative of the radio has played a mixture of raw" womanizer "on the phone for a radio station in Nashville, 37 seconds of this rough mix was recorded by a person at the station, and that is what provides delicious," Washington said in a statement.
Spears, 26, is back after a merger, which has dominated the headlines shows business for much of the past 18 months, but last week won three trophies at the MTV Video Music Awards.(reuters)
